Passing this exam changes what you can earn. The practice you use should be worth that.

Our mission

To give every Enrolled Agent candidate practice they can trust without checking — every question written to the public SEE blueprint, every answer traceable to the exact IRS source it came from, and every figure stamped to the tax year it was written for.

Most practice banks ask you to take their word for it. When an answer looks wrong, you have nowhere to go. That is the problem this was built to fix — not with more questions, but with questions you can audit.

Every answer cites its source

Each question links to the exact IRS Publication, form instruction, or Internal Revenue Code section it is built on. Miss one and you land on the page that explains it — not a homepage, not a summary. If you think an answer is wrong, you can check it yourself in one click.

Nothing is invented

Conceptual questions are hand-written. Every calculation is computed from the tax rule itself, so the answer key cannot drift — the wrong options are the common miscalculations, not filler. No question was generated and shipped unchecked.

Current, and stamped

Tax law moves every year. Every question carries the tax year it was written for, so you always know what you are studying. Figures are refreshed each filing season, and the exam's own rules change too — the SEE is administered by PSI (not Prometric) from the 2026–27 cycle, at $317 per part. When that changes again, this page changes with it.

We would rather be corrected than believed

Every question has a "flag" button. If an answer is wrong, an explanation is muddy, or a figure is stale, one click sends it to us with the question attached. Corrections beat compliments. The people who tell us we are wrong are the reason this is worth paying for.

Spanish around the question — English inside it

The Spanish edition translates the interface, the instructions and the guidance. It does not translate the questions, and that is deliberate: the SEE is sat in English. Drilling on translated stems would teach you vocabulary you will never see on exam day, and you would meet basis, recapture and statute of limitations for the first time under a 3.5-hour clock. We would rather be useful than comfortable.

Not tax advice. Confirm every figure against current IRS guidance before relying on it for a real return.
Not a guarantee. No practice bank can promise you a pass. This one can promise you it told you the truth about what the exam tests.

Who is behind it

CertAbacus is built and maintained by one person, not a content farm. It is in open beta right now, which means it is free, it is unfinished, and the people using it are shaping what it becomes. If you find something wrong, you will hear back from a human who fixes it.
